October - PEACE EVENT
The ‘Peace is…..’ Festival will be held in the Ansell Centre from Thursday, October 22nd to Sunday October 25th, and is organised by ACC working with the Churches in Hadleigh. The Festival is for everyone in the community to enjoy and to take part in and schools, organisations and individuals are being asked to create a display about peace.
We are also organizing a PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION.
Take a picture to capture what peace means for you, print it out A4 size and hand in to 7 High Street by Saturday 17th October. There will be two categories, under 16 years of age and adults.
The competition will be judged on subject matter and on photography skills and a prize will be awarded for each category. All entries will be displayed in the Ansell Centre over the period of the Peace Festival. Please include your name, address, telephone number and age if under 16, and when and where you took your picture.
On Saturday October 22nd there will be a CONCERT by Serendipity singing a programme about Peace.
