“Hollywood in Hadleigh”

Our Digital Cinema shows modern blockbusters and classic movies as soon as they are released on DVD.   Film shows are on the fourth Friday of every month at 7.30 pm  (unless otherwise stated).  The price is now £4.50 on the door (£2.50 for accompanied children when appropriate).  Four cinema tickets may be purchased for £18

We are also excited to announce that we are starting a new form of entertainment: live streaming from the National Theatre.  This will be ticketed at £14 by cash or card at the door, or advance online at Ticketsource (-search for Ansell Centre).  These showings will be on Sunday afternoons at 2.30 pm

We normally show subtitles to assist those with hearing loss, but there is also a hearing loop, so please bring your hearing aid to benefit from this.

Tea, coffee, biscuits and choc ices are sold during a short interval at cinema showings; there is also a bar for the National Theatre showings.

Details of the upcoming events are shown in the Digital Cinema Events list in the right hand margin.

Thanks to:

  • a kind gift left to us by John Rose, one of our previous committee members;
  • generous donations given by the East of England Co-op and the Stand Up for Suffolk Grant Making Programme through Suffolk Community Foundation. With these grants we have been able to upgrade our deteriorating cinema equipment, for which we are all grateful!
